you may have realized that cake pops are all the rage now, they're even available at Starbucks! anyway, i made cake pops for the first time for papa's birthday. they are basically little smushed balls of cake on lollipop sticks. you bake up a cake, let it cool, tear it into fine crumbs, dump in frosting, roll it in balls, pop on a stick and dip in candy or chocolate. easy!
ingredients:
1 box cake mix (cook as directed on box for 13 X 9 cake)
1/2 can frosting (8 oz.)
1/2 can frosting (8 oz.)
1/4 lb. candy melts (any color)
1/2 lb. chocolate melts
lollipop sticks
1/2 lb. chocolate melts
