this book rocks

i have been recommending this book to every mother i know! the advice is completely practical and effective. even if you are not christian, i promise that this book makes sense and will make a huge difference in your life. rosemond hits the nail on the head with why we have so many problems with children these days, as a mother I have experienced exactly what he is saying. the strategies are clear and really work! if you want to raise children of character and integrity, this book is a must-read! i have read many parenting books and realize now this is the only one i would ever need. i, too, was lovingly disciplined as a child by kind, caring parents who spanked me when needed, but followed by a kiss and explanation of what i've done wrong. i appreciate them for it today. love protects, sometimes by discipline.
