after dinner last night, i introduced to aiden some basic ideas of water color, i encouraged him to try color mixing, washing the brush and color application. aiden really enjoyed learning how to paint with a brush, and i can see his improvement in hand-eye coordination. 

using a stencil to creat some stars, this can be a good

execise for learning the concept of overlapping



the painting was inspired by a beautiful

book called "sometimes"



  

while i was instructing him how to draw
lines of grass, aiden suddently turned to me
and whispered "mami, i really love you!" i
was so touched and flattered. i think it's all
about encouragement and confidence
building at this level, he was really happy
to be able finish a painting on his own.



hope his love for fine art would be gradually developed
