I decided to try my hand at making Chinese turnip cake for the up coming Chinese New Year.
ingredients:
2 1/2 to 3 cups daikon, peeled and julienned or shredded (about 1 1/2 to 2 lbs.)
4 dried mushroom, finely chopped
1 chinese sausage, finely diced
dried shrimp, finely chopped
2 cups rice flour
1 3/4 cups water, divided
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon corn flour
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
