aiden's school recently requested parents to participate and complete a task at home to create a unique hanging mobile which will be displaying for the school's open house. in celebrating the joys of childhood and recognizing the rights of childred around the world, we have to pick from the 5 key messages of children's day as the focus of the mobile, we decided to pick the "love and affection" topic.
in trying to teach aiden an awareness about the world around us, i used some recycled materials such as fishing line, paper bags, ripped cloth and some craft materials etc to create this mobile. aiden was excited in helping out to paint the letters and draw some heart shapes on the mobile. we spent some beautiful time working together on this first school project!
