the best scones in town has be the raisin scones from mandarin oriental, served with the rose petal jam and clotted cream, the scones are always warm, soft and buttery. i've been wanting to make home-made scones for a while, and tonight i decided to give it a try. i followed the recipe from joy of baking, with the video demonstration, it's pretty simple and only few ingredients are required. check it out if you want to try!
ended up with a round scone, not quite like the one from mandarin, but they were still as delicious, it was very satisfying to see the scones coming out from the oven!
