had a pleasant lunch with my mom and sister over the weekend, it's my second visit at bombana in two months. last time we tried the tasting menu at night and we were all impressed with the black truffles pasta, they were very generous with the truffles!! so, i was eager to take my sister to try it out while she's still in town. but too bad the black truffles weren't available this time. anyway, i ordered the 3-courses set lunch this time and it was wonderful, here're some pictures to share:
bread basket was delicious, especially love the tomato focaccia!! they also have very good olive oil and balsamic vinegar
warm white asparagus, couldn't be any better!
lamb medallion and lamb shank were cooked perfectly with whipped potato and parsley taleggio sauce. the portion was good.
hazelnut and lemon parfait, served with praline ice cream and crispy waffle
have tried a few italian restaurants, and i have to say this is my favorite restaurant in town so far.
