the chairman

we visited the chairman last night with some good friends. I had made the reservation few weeks ago and we were eager to try it out. we sat at a table upstair, the meal was truly impressive, what I like most about the dinner was the natural taste of all the ingredients and its stress on no MSG. cooking was creative, but not overly elaborate. this is definitely one of the best cantonese foods I ever had for a long time.

龍井菊花燻乳鴿, wow! the smoke was really intense

金錢雞

love the 花雕蟹陳川粉, is the MUST HAVE dish which I read about. the crab was fresh, but the best thing was the sauce, and was served with 陳村粉 that soaked up all the sauce.

the 話梅肉桂糖醋排骨 was pretty amazing. the meat was soft and tender.

麻辣牛腩煲

百花海鹽雞 was very nice and crispy


it was a happy gathering and the food was excellent, would definitely go back again real soon!
